Q. How do I prepare for a wax?
A. Your hair should be ¼ inch for waxing, or about 3 weeks from shaving or trimming. Shower & scrub down well before you come in.
Q. Does it hurt?
A. There will be some discomfort the first time, but the more often you wax, the less pain you'll feel. We do offer a numbing cream that you can purchase and apply an hour prior to your appointment.
Q. How long does it last?
A. Everyone's hair grows at a different pace, but on average waxing lasts 4-6 weeks.
Q. How do I prevent bumps & ingrown hair after?
A. It is common for bumps to occur after your first wax, but there are ways to avoid them. Wear clean, loose fitting clothing to your appointment, no tanning, sports, gym, or other exercise 24 hours after. If you're prone to breakouts, there are products we have available that can help.
Q. We know you're all wondering. . . What if I get a woody?
A. It does occasionally happen, but so what? We're professionals. It's not exactly the most pleasurable experience, so don't worry about it lasting too long.
